in Boulder City, Nevada.  It was also a finalist for the 2015 CINE Awards.

     The screenplay for DUMMY  about a ventriloquist with Alzheimer's co-written with filmmaker Pamela Wess, won First Place in the Garden State Film Festival for 2017 and Fourth Place in the 2016 85th Annual Writer's Digest Screenplay Competition as well as placed as a finalist for the 2016 Filmmatic Screenplay Awards.

     He is also finished another screenplay FIRE IN THE HEART, co-authored with Pooya Mosheni, about an American defense contractor involved with an Iranian transgender woman , and they are both pursued by the CIA. This screenplay was a first-round  finalist in the 2016 WriteRoom Screenplay Competition.

     Arjay's first major screenwriting success was for the short film DOWN IN FLAMES: The True Story Of Tony 'Volcano' Valenci, co-authored with William J. Stribling.  That film was produced and went on to win seven Best Short Film Awards at Film Festivals including the 'Best of the Fest' at the DAM Short Film Festival
